Machupicchu schedule
Machupicchu currently has 9 entry times:
• First time from 6:00
• Second schedule from 7:00
• Third schedule from 8:00
• Fourth hour from 9:00
• Fifth schedule from 10:00
• Sixth schedule from 11:00
• Seventh hour from 12:00
• Eighth time from 13:00
• Ninth schedule from 14:00
If you are going to visit Machupicchu in the first hours, it is advisable to be a day earlier in Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Town) so you can calmly go up to Machupicchu the next day.
The most recommended to visit Machupicchu, is always to spend the night the night before in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), either for any entrance time. But if you don’t have much time, then your visit to Machupicchu can be done one day from Cusco.

Bus to Machu Picchu
There are two ways to get to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes:
• The first option is to go by bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, the trip takes approximately 30 minutes per section. And the price is 24 dollars for foreigners (round trip), and 15 dollars for Peruvians (round trip). The first BUS schedule is from 5:00 am.
• The second option is to walk from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, the walk lasts approximately 1.5 hours per section and you can take advantage to see the beautiful landscapes on the way.
How to get to Machupicchu
To get to Machu Picchu there are several options:
• Machu Picchu by train: From Cusco you must go to the Ollantaytambo station and from there board the train towards Aguas Calientes. You can also board from the San Pedro, Poroy or Urubamba train station, for this you must verify your ticket and see from which train station you must board.
• Machupicchu by car: This is the cheapest option and lasts for 2 days and night.
• Inca Trail: The famous Inca trail is one of the best-selling options since this route runs out quickly and you must buy several months in advance.
• Route via Salkantay: From Cusco Machu Picchu, this tour is another of the most beautiful options since you will walk through beautiful landscapes and see the beautiful landscape of Salkantay.
